Vision & Mission

Palakuzha Grama Panchayat is an agricultural region situated on the eastern border of Ernakulam district, sharing boundaries with Idukki and Kottayam districts. The area is characterized by rocky hill slopes and comparatively limited water resources. Therefore, the amount of rainfall received significantly affects all sectors of the Panchayat, especially agriculture and drinking water availability. It is appreciable that the people of our Panchayat live together harmoniously without caste or religious discrimination, while maintaining a high standard in the fields of arts, sports, culture, and education.

The comprehensive and sustainable development of the Panchayat, along with ensuring social justice through annual development projects and people’s planning initiatives, forms the core Vision, Mission, and Objectives of Palakuzha Grama Panchayat.
